Topic #1 [SKIP TO PAGE 1]: CATS VS DOGS

I myself am a dog person, so I love dogs. They're protective, god damn adorable (depending which breed you get) and are clean. Cats just bug me.

I'm more of a cat person (no pun intended.) There much easier to manage, and in most cases don't require as much attention, so there easier to have around.

And when you're not paying attention to them, they climb on everything and make messes..

Dogs. They are good guards, they will fuck up just about anyone that will try to do harm, and they get pretty fucking big. I am a dog person, I love dogs, I want a big dog.

Personally I love cats more than dogs. Don't get me wrong; I like dogs, even those yappy little bastards, but cats are my preference because I grew up with them and not dogs. Plus, I just don't like the smell of dog fur.

I despise cats even more now haha. Last night, there were two cats doing it outside my house. I don't know if anyone knows what two cats having sex sounds like, but it's pretty damn annoying. Cat-sex has got to be the most obnoxious thing ever.

i agree with that. ITS AFUCKENOING!!!! cats yelling like they are being mutilated. *shivers* i prefer dogs, or rather, they prefer me. Dunno y, but dogs never bark at me.

I prefer cats as animal pets, if that is the question here. Dogs are too... needy, too dependent, too much of a hassle.

I would say 50/50 for me, never owned a cat but they are independant. All that needs to be done is open the door every once in a while, some foods and water and cat will make home. Dogs are just so much work, that is you have a puppy or untrained one that is. It depends what you're talking about too, in general or pets? I would have to go with dogs, woofers, canines, buddies. For I have not had any fun with a cat, nor see how you can, dogs are a lot more charismatic but..stupid. Only after months of training can it learn that pulling on a leash will cause it to choke and generally be tolerable when out and about. Cats on the other hand stay out of the way, depending on your thoughts on that, for better or worse. Plus they are sadistic little bastards, you can't tell if they will cuddle up or scratch you.

The only thing messy about dogs is the shedding. Cats climb everywhere, so they're bound to make something fall. And they scratch up furniture/carpet. I never thought Wulf would like cats :p

What exactly are we debating? Which is more likely to take over the planet? What cat or dog cartoon character is the best, or who would win in a fight? Leaving it at "cats or dogs" is a little open ended, don't ya think? However since everyone seems to be stating which they prefer...

I like dogs. Big dogs. Short-haired preferably. I really dislike the little yappy football rats....

I currently have four cats, and I love them to death but they drive me insane. People who think cats don't require work are seriously misinformed. Cats get into everything, knock stuff off shelves, leave fur all over furniture, steal my baby's socks...I'm forever sweeping the floor and picking up after them.

And they are needy as well, Wulf. Dogs require much more training and attention at first, true. But if I'm just sitting on the couch not paying attention to any of these little terrors, I'll literally end up with a pile of cats on me, all vying for my attention.

Depends on the personality/quantum of the cat(s). My cat is a supercilious, misanthropic megalomaniac. Bit like me, really. We get along really well, anyway. You don't have to walk cats, either.

Big dogs are the 'lesser of two evils', I would concede. And Kitten, you have too many cats.

Anyway, females are better overall. We're generally smarter, highly adaptable, live longer, more attractive...........yes we are, don't deny it!

I'm not sure what I prefer.
For females I do likez the physical side of things, much more attracted to the body but..women are just..you can never fully get on with one. No offense gals but you can be bitches, not to men but each other too. Spreading rumors and falling out over the most idiotic things. You are also crazy, nuff said to be honest. =P
With guys, only the good looking, its cliche but when guys don't look good..they really don't. However, I get on with guys so well, far easier to be comfortable with.
