the castle thudded hard on the surface as the stones exploded outward, leaving the occupants unharmed.

attaking from under, around, and in the heart of Allegar."

a shadowy wall appears around Loknish, squeezing inward as I appear where the fountain had stood. (i am about to transport all of the minotaurs of Loknish, to Allegar and you two if you dont mind. hell was breaking loose anyways.)

a stranger walking through this war torn world looks out in the distance... he appears nonchalant with the chaos and destruction surrounding him...

((I can, and I will if possible. Everything I've done so far has been leading up to one huge clusterfuck of a fight. Have fun. And merc, the best place for a fight would be Niquk; I'm invading the city en masse.))

"I do know you; the Doctor and Lucian profiled you quite well, and I do not care. My only wish to to eliminate those humans. Their arrogance in themselves, their knowledge and the purity of their path is a blight upon creation. I am here to expunge their pitiful existence, to usher in a new world free from their corruption." The Spider steps down the steps of his throne and into a patch of sunlight filtering in through a hole in the ceiling. He was very gaunt and very pale with black, matted hair extended down to the small of his back. He appeared almost skeletal with his ribs pushing out through his stretched skin and his fingers were like sale spiders in their length and rigidity.

"I will end their reign of madness, once and for all. And if you wish to stop me, I do not expect my puppets to stop you," he smiles, his fanged teeth and red eyes staring tsod down over his gaunt face. "I will end you myself."

"He is with me, shadow, and none other," Ana says, still furious at Lucian's betrayal.

The core metal absorbed into the floating city absorbed the energy bolts and redirected them back toward the water city.

"Oh, and what makes you think I'm on your side now?" Ghost's hand phases out of the floor and he stands with a sure smile at tsod.

Merc walks through the streets of Talvas, looking around fight a fight, but staying away from starting the fight... he continues to walk sensing something... "Elusive"...

Ben listens as another approaches. He reverts to human, scanning the area. "We have company old friend." Ben nods in the direction. "An aquaintence?"

Nathan's ears prick up at Ben's voice and turned to him "I assume you were reffering to me?" he said sarcasticly then glanced at the direction he was pointing at

Ben said nothing as he remained focussed on the newcomer.

Upon walking through the streets of Talvas, Merc senses 2 figures close by... he stood there and tried to listen in but it wasn't good enough... he opened up his palm and spawned a small feather... so he could listen in...

-the feather appears in the sky and falls next to the figures and listening in figures out the names, "NATHAN" And "BEN"...

"well your puppets dont know me as well as they pride themselves, which means, neither do you. you see, i am Vitas, creator of all life. i created that life, and Nara as a matter of fact. i let you take it, seeing your position, but now you are stepping on my toes... whats left of them. and your puppets cant even immobolize me, and you think you can take me out, i think not impudent child!" my voice rising slightly at the end.

the city caught the energy as it began to rise again.

The legions haul their siege equipment to the edges of the landmass and arm them; cannons, energy towers, and mobile garrisons were lined up and place and began firing, blasting Niquk back into the sea.



[Allegar, Bureau of Technological advancement: tsod, Ghost]

"Oh? Just ask yourself this," He places the gauntlets on his arms. A blade extended form each gauntlet with the engraving 'Tia mi aven Moridin isainde vadin' on the blade. He pointed one of the katars at tsod. "Are you so certain that I am your ally?"

(Pffft, you have a pretty big ego for typing on a forums site, it's a battle of imaginations not characters in general, I'm pretty sure I can keep up if you're okay with humoring the notion. Not that I'm sure I'd want to, you're ego might over inflate so much you'll push me right out of the thread >>; )

"Well I'm not entirely sure. I kinda just got here and I have no idea who's 'side' I'm on. I'm normally on the side that does NOT harm innocent people. And right now i'm getting mixed auras from everybody so I have no idea what's what. I wanted to speak to the head hancho around here and figure out what the fuck's going on. Now if you'll kindly explain it to me I would be happy to decide what to do." I then turn to Ana. "And sorry Ana, as fun as you are I still have no idea what's going on. I can't really be on your side if I don't know what you really do." I shrug my shoulders and get in between the two. "Now then, if you would please hold off killing each other for a few minutes so you can explain the situation to me." My stomach growls. "Not to mention I'm hungry. Who's up for a meal and a full explanation? My treat."

i burst out in maniacal laughter. after about ten seconds it started to die out as i spoke, "i dont think you caught my drift," my voice turns cold, my expression colder, "prepare to die."

i draw the Auctoritas from air as my arms slit to form

another pair that drew the immortals. leathery black wings emerged on my back, extending out to form a massive wingspan.

the city fell far enough to re-submerge as shdadowy whips flung out, aiming for the massive seige equipment.

"you would be foolish not to, for you cannot harm me, even if you find a phase that works, i am in multiple phases at one time and they are constantly changing." i look past Ghost absently, "and i have challeged Adam."

Merc lands on the ground of a battlefield as he hides his gigantic wings in his trench coat, he walks forward observing the site...

The undead legion renewed their assault with vigor, using their weapons as suppressing fire as the siege equipment turned its attention to the new attack.

"I'm sorry, I got other fish to fry. Have fun with Spiderman." He walks past tsod and out the door. "War leaves its trail, in moonlight so pale..."

The part of the legion turned their attention to Merc, then charged force with energy weapons and melee weapons.

Merc just stood there looking at the overwhelming numbers... "umm..." he begins counting the numbers of individuals facing him, this is only used to show insult however...

[Allegar: Merc]

The energy blasts hit Merc full in the chest while the vanguard raised their weapons to hack his limbs.

((They're all dead. They can't be aggrivated))

through the smoke and debris, a giant white wing emerges from the smoke, a trench coat also flutters down, its revealed before the hits the blasts made contact with his wings... using his wing's aura shielding to block every single one of their attacks, but Merc wasn't finished, 4 crimson blades fly out of his wing base and begins slicing and dicing all the undead coming close, 2 crimson blades spin around him forming a make shift shield to block all of their incoming energy attacks...

(I was not aware of that detail)

More soldiers came forth, bringing with them more of the siege weapons. A commander gave the geasture and cannons were loaded and fired at Merc.

sensing a siege attack merc throws his last 2 crimson blades at the cannons using his Telekinetic Magnetism to slice the cannon barrels of the cannons in half to render them useless, with the 8 crimson blades being controlled by Merc's telekinetic magnetism, they reign hell for the undead army... with his weapons in use he pulls out his MSZ-006 Saber rifle and flaps his wings once jetting into the sky...

i grab Zeke's shoulder as we fly through shadows, appearing in the Allegar throne room.

i look at myself, then at spidey(please note, this is me from Quah)
i point at spider, "he is aiming to kill all the mortals," i point at my other self, "i created the mortals, so i am

protecting my creation from him." i turn to Zeke, "simple enough. Ana works for him, Doc and Kalidor, which are standing behind him, work for him, and Lucien is currently in limbo... still trying to run down his body..."

"this isnt enough power..."
an idea comes to mind as i run to the shield generator, a large quartz wall appeared. i place it between the controls and the generator as an orb of quartz replaces the other orb.

i run back to the controls as Nwura appears at the quartz wall

I shake my head. "Ok wait. There's three of you. And that one over there with Doc behind him is trying to destroy the mortals? And Ana works for him? You confused me. Which one is trying to kill the mortals?"

placing her hand on it. the quartz acted as an amplifier as she poured power in. i took of my trenchcoat, showing skeletal hands and feet, as well as a skull, held together by swirling darkness. the darkness poured itself into the quartz.
the sheild around Niquk turned pitch black as a silver liquid mixed in with its mirrored finish(reflection of all attacks :D).

Niquk rose again in earnest, shooting large black beams at the bottom of the floating city.

The legion commander gave an order to the captain of the energy towers. One tower sent a burst of energy to another, which sent a burst of energy around Merc, conceiling him in a bubble of energy. The cannons were rolled upward and fired at Merc.

"That would be me." The Spider said and folded his arms.

I look at Spider. "...Well that's not good. I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill you. And further more if you two are on different sides, shouldn't you be killing each other?"

The fist stops at Ghost's head, all inertia stopped as it came into contact with him. He chuckled. "The Grave is no bar to my call. You cannot hurt me phantom." He ducks under Kunwir's arm and keeps walking until he comes into contact with a wall and phases right through it.

"I have no quarrel with either of you, but I will devour you if you stand against me." His demeanor had no changed.

I shake my head and say to Spider "Look. You want to kill all the mortals right? A LOT of those mortals happen to be innocent people. Now why you have the urge to kill them I have no idea. BUT! Seein as how they are indeed innocent, I have no choice BUT to stand in your way. And I warn you, I don't die easily. And I don't stay down forever. I've died 5 times so far that I know of. Each time something happens to me that keeps my soul alive and well and my body regenerates again stronger. Now, I have some expiriences with evil sides of a persons soul, but I keep mine in check. You however tsod, I have no idea."

retreating flying backward it's reveal Merc used his wing shielded by a nearly impenetrable angel aura to block the attack of the cannons... in retaliation to their attacks Merc focuses power in one of his hands charging to unleash his "DIVINE BUSTER" with his small wings shielding him and his big wings keeping him in flight, it'll be difficult to interrupt his charge...

There's a small flash of blue light and the entire legion vanishes in front of Merc's eyes. Ana is in their place, calmly standing below his hovering form.

"hmmm..." decreases power in his wrist for the Divine Buster... and slowly descends down to the ground looking at the new person that appeared...

Ben skids to a hault and catches Doc in front of Merc. Suddenly they dissapear and reappear infront of Spider. Ben sets Doc down. "Let's try this again." Ben lowers himself and changes back into a wolf.

A burst of flames erupts in front of Ben to block his path. Doc is behind him with a ball of fire in the palm of his hand. "I didn't expect it to come down to this."

Ana shook her head, "This time it's for real." The castle vanished along with the rest of the city. "I make the rules here."

"whatever you say... the change in scenery isn't doing much..." any type of buff remover or magic cancellation applied to merc doesn't affect him due to his power being shielded by the aura of his wings...

Nathan steps through the portal and finds himself in the midst of a battle between ben and doc. he fires a pinpoint shot of core energy at doc's back to distract him

I am sent flying outside and smash into the ground, leaving a small crater due to the long drop. ((I think.)) I get up quickly and ready myself when Kalidor lands. When I put a up my stance my back snaps. "Ow! One moment please." I begin to stretch out, trying to fix my back. Loud snapping and cracks can be heard. "Ah! Ooo. Ohhh. Ok! Now I'm ready." I ready myself for the next attack.

[Wolf]

Immediately Ben reacts. He jumps throught the flames unscathed and dissapears the instant his paw touches the floor. He reappears, slashing his blade at the front of Spider, in human form with enough room to dodge anything.

((Okay, to seperate the landscape for everyone, everyone except merc and ana is in the castle. The city is untouched, if decayed from time, and Merc and ana are in the fields and plains south of the castle))

"I'll be blunt, do you want to work for me?" The air fluctuates around Ana, but nothing else happens.




[Allegar, Hall of Legends: tsod, Ghost]

"I'll kick fate in the balls if I must." Ghost begins countig down softly. "I'm gonna hall ass out of the castle now." He looks at tsod, "Say, you wanna know what I'm doing? Or do you have any guesses?"



[Allegar, The Armory: tsod, Zeke, Kalidor]

Kalidor gives a kick to Zeke's chest and follows through with a sword slice. On the other side of the wall, the Spider doesn't even flinch as a burst of core metal comes out of his back and gobs around Wolf, dragging him toward the Spider. In the Bureau of Scientific Research and Development, Doc flies forward and crushes into the wall. He extracts himself from it and draws the black dagger from his belt as the fire forms a dueling ring around the two. Doc charges.

I wake up and look around, Mira laying down next to me. "Honey, babe, you ok?" She groans softly, I sigh and look around. A booming voice is heard from behind. "Your awake, thank the maker." The head minotaur is standing over me. "Where are we? What happened?" He replied equally confused, "From what I see this is Allegar. I don't like this though, there are various powerful entities here." My face lights up, "The others." I concentrate, eyes turn red, "They are all scattered, I need to see the others." I look down and look at Mira then up at the minotaur. "Take care of her, that's the only thing I ask. I will be back." I fade, surrounded by a black cloud.

A small black cloud forms in the shadows, I appear and stay hidden. I look around and I see Tsod. ^Shadows, it's me, I'm in the same room behind you. One question, the person your with, friend of foe?^ (FYI it's a telephatic massage for those who don't know.)

"working "FOR" isn't my style... working "WITH" is... and it all depends... what's in it for me?" he said his arms still folded and looking at the ground...

[Allegar: Zeke, Kalidor]

When he kicks me I grab hold of his foot and take the slash. It cuts into me but not all the way. My skin and innards harden, holding the blade in place. I smile and throw him off of me. I pull out the sword and put one end in one palm, the hilt in the other. I crush the entire thing in my hands, shattering it. ((I think swords can be shattered with enough force right?)) "Now then, before we continue, I have some questions that I've been wanting to have answered. First, why are you siding with him?"

Nathan quickly glances behind him. fire surrounded him and doc, cutting off any escape. he turned back to doc and formed a kusari-gama in his hands and took a defencive stance

Ben flickers and barely escapes. He reapears in a defencive stance, both blades out. He takes a step to one side dodging attacks.

"Whatever you want, as long as you don't inconvenience us," Ana whispers.

As Zeke put his hand on the claymore, Kalidor lurched his leg into the wall to crush Zeke against it, freeing him. He plunged his gauntlet through the nearest display case, pulling out a sword hilt in the shape of a dragon head with it's jaws open. He grasped the hilt and a gout of fire extended from the dragon's mouth and solidified into a blade resembling a frozen flame.

Doc took a leap, spinning into a kick with a ball of fire in one hand and the dagger in the other.

A two decrepit hands burst from the ground and grab a hold of Ben's ankles while the Spider points between Ben's eyes. A thin line of metal extends in a razor-sharp tip and shoots forth.

"A sword of fire eh? Did I mention i am immune to fire and the like?" I lunged forward and grabbed hold of the blade. It turned to fire once again and the flame wrapped around my arm and I absorbed it. I then decked Kalidor in the face and smashed him into the ground. I placed my foot on his neck and said "Theres alot you got to learn."

nathan let go of the sickle and reached out, catching doc's leg. he tossed him towards the fire then grabbed the sickle and threw it after doc

"I didn't come here to take sides..." he replied continuing "anyone in my view is my enemy, I'll accept... but you better keep a close eye on me..." he said unfolding his wings "...cause I'll turn on you anytime if I don't see any impressive results..."

@MGL: Godmod is allowed, but 99% of auto-hitting is not. i will let doc see to the results of that one, but please refrain from heavy assumptions, most everyone here is fucked up on the power scale, including Kalidor, he can hold his own against Shadow, comes to a stalemate basically.)

"Watch and learn little boy," Ana disappears and the legion directs its assault on him. He pulls the Harbinger out, cleaving the first pair of undead with a quick slice. He dashes into the crown in a whirl of cuts and crouches in a stance with both blades. "I'm curious on how to kill those who are already dead, old friend."

Ben's head is hung low as he is still braced against the wall. Telepathically he talks to Shadow, ^Why when I haven't even begun to have fun yet?^ Strands of his human hair begin to turn white. Instantly he appears infront of Spider and between two Shadow's. Before he looks up, Spider's arm splits in two. Ben's eyes had turned frost and there was a look of pure hunger. Three more of him fill in the gaps left by Shadow. All of them charge at once with the blade that they have left. When they reach Spider all of them dissapear...

The energy dies down, but then pulsed back upwards at full strength, punching a hole in the ceiling. Earth, steal and stone fell down as the decrepit castle fell to pieces. Doc picked up one of the large slabs of metal and threw it as if it were light as a feather. His muscle tone was bulging and was gaining more and more every second. Veins and coiled muscle grew in his arm,s back and legs. Soon he appeared as a deformed, muscled juggernaut. He picked up another slab of metal and pitched it at Nathan with alarming speed.

As I rush foward the large cut in my back causes me to slow down. I then burst into flames with the colors of black and white fire and immediately speed up. My body becomes a living fire ball as I dash towards Kalidor, aiming straight into his chest. ((So it's just a clone? Not the real thing?))

Doc gave no chance and began an instant counterattack, charging at Nathan. He began running on all fours, his body mass no supported by two legs. He lifted both fists and slammed them into the ground, sending debris in all directions. Energy flickered from his arms to the ground on impact, and all shrapnel and debris caught fire as it ejected form the ground.

Merc threw of his trench coat off and flapped his wings straightening then he throws his wings in front of him shielding from the shrapnel and flying in the air, while flapping his giant wings he throws 2 crimson blades one each headed towards doc and nathan, the weight of a red giant star is applied to the force of the throws due to Merc's telekinetic magnetism... a block or counterattack against the spinning blades would be fatal due to the fact of heavy force, noting if they were blocked the opponent would be pile driven into the ground...

Nathan changed into a thin stream of energy and flew up, weaving between the shrapnel. He changed back and prepared to attack doc but just had enough time to see a crimson blade fly towards him. He calculated quickly that by the speed of the blade that it had considerable weight behind it. He charged one of his tanto and swung it across him to counter the blade, just as it struck the energy exploded and countered the force of the blade, allowing him to counter it without any negative effect, apart from vibrations running up his arm from the impact

Marcus sighed relief after jumping away from the Castle of Peace. He was worried that Doc might destroy it... the last symbol of peace. Even worn and crumbling as it was, it showed hope that Zyarc might know peace once again. He realized he had just appeared into the middle of a town and his shining mechanical armor was drawing attention. He went into an alley where a couple were kissing and they fled in screams of terror. The girl threw a stone at him and he raised his helmet just in time to block it. People now were wondering whether he was an adversary, or just a... creature that had been at the wrong place at the wrong time. The footsteps of the Reynard swiftly led him into a deserted part of the city on the southern end. It was near the sea and up on a rise, so it was not a good place to anchor a boat. Therefor none bothered him. A flash came from behind him and Sabrina was already holding a ball of flames in her hand. "You scampered like a scared puppy away from Doc. Good. He is one of the few I can't sap strength from." Marcus tossed a orange fireball at Sabrina as she blocked it with a blue fire shield. "Now you will become my disiple, for I will lay your mind to dust when I'm through with you!" The fight began.

The dragon bursts from the Allegarian underbelly and arcs to the side and dives headfirst into the ground at surface-level.The scaly, liquid skin creates a dome protecting Allegar from the speeding city, causing a bubble that cushions the impact and ricochet's Niquk away from the city. Adrian looks up from his battle, re-dead corpses littering the ground in hundreds. The dragon itself was at least five miles from snout to tail; it was truly a sight to behold, even for a brief moment. Battle called once more as the next legion advanced on Adrian. It formed ranks and the first rank knelled and aimed their weapons. They fired, riddling his body with holes and splintered bones, but Adrian managed to stay on his feet. Tissue re-knitted itself and he was swiftly fit for battle once more. He dashed into the firing legion faster than a regular human ever could train to in their lifetime. A hand connected with a bony skull, crushing it.

"I am Lonan, the Sword Dancer, the Godhand, the Forever Man, the Manslayer, Ferryman, Shadowrider. No being evades me blades!"

Doc pulls back an arm coiled was thick muscles and ejects a massive stream of fire into his hands and caught the tanto in one hand and the pair of blades in the other. He held his breath and roared, the deep baritone of his voice echoing off the walls. Debris flew wild, in the wake of the roar, but it weakened the floor more than it was. The column of energy cracked and expanded the hole in the floor, threatening to dissolve any who remained in the room. Doc decided to fall back as the diameter of the column expanded even more so, closing in one the three. He dropped the weapons of the other two and punched a hole in the wall, escaping towards the front of the castle.






[Allegar, Front Pavilion: Lucian, tsod]

"I only need you to take care of Ana and Kalidor. Kal can match anyone here, but Ana the nuisance to worry about. Here's a secret: she's an illusionist, not a god. She doesn't alter reality, only your perception of it. If she comes into full play, we'd all be scrambling for help. Right now, she's helping Kalidor in his fight. I'll be fine in facing Doc. I don't want to kill him, but it may be a mercy to do so. You've probably taken a look at my diary at some point when I gave it to the swordsman, so you know why. Just take care of those two, and I'll handle the rest, the rest helping if they wish to; no one knows them like me." He looked around the pavilion, surveying it for cover and strategic uses.

"Looking for something, sugar?" Lucian spun around to face the voice. It was an antique gypsy cart with a side window. It contained several wind chimes hanging from the outcropping window, all handmade with wood and various trinkets. Inside was even more peculiar. Religious paraphernalia littered shelves upon shelves upon shelves on the read wall. The Qur'an, tarot cards, incense, pentagrams, candles, the Bible, scrolls, tea glasses, ritual daggers, an antlered mask, vials and glassware.

What really drew Lucian's attention was the woman leaning on the wooden table hanging out the window. She was albino in her late twenties with skin as pale as his own. She had a very loose fitting and light green silk dress with several golden and jemmed bracelets jingling as she held her head in her hand. She had short, cropped white hair and a pair of eyes as red as Kalidor's. She stuck out of the landscape as much as Kalidor did in a crowd of hobbits.

"You're name's not Yūko by any chance?" Lucian asked. The woman gave off laughter that sounded like the peal of a bell, ringing into the distance. Ghost looked alarmed, looking around in a panic.

"No, it's not sweetie. It is a pretty name though," her red eyes pondered something for a moment. "Yes... it is a nice name. You can call me that." Yuko smiled. "And stop looking around like you've seen a Ghost," she emphasized. "You're in my place; no one's here but us.

Lucian looked back to her and almost pratfalled. He was no longer in Nara, but in a mystic's shop. The room had an almost Japanese feel to the room with the sliding doors and a banzai tree growing in the corner. Indian and Oriental rugs dotted the floor, but otherwise it appeared to be the gypsy wagon expanded 10 times over and across.

"So sugar, what can I do for you?" Yūko had a smile on that foretold knowledge and wisdom far beyond the norm.

"I'm sorry, but I have somewhere else to go at the moment. I have to end a never-ending cycle before it restarts again."

The bracelets jingled quietly as she adjusted herself behind the counter. "You're peeling." Lucian cursed internally and saw a gilded antique mirror a piece of skin under his eye was flaking off. "I was almost surprised. Someone a pale as me, but you look rather dark under that fake skin you're wearing. Don't worry, I won't tattle on the masked man." Why did she have to smile at him coyly like that? Yūko's enlarging smile confirmed his suspected blush.

"It's okay sugar; I get that sometimes. At least you have a reason to hide. At least you're not like those who put on makeup and dye their hair trying to mimic me. They're not in it for my art or skills or respect. They think they understand, but they're just in it for the freakshow. What about you honey? What can I help you with?"

As the Fool leaves the throne of the Goat God, he comes upon a Tower, fantastic, magnificent, and familiar. In fact, The Fool, himself, helped build this Tower back when the most important thing to him was making his mark on the world and proving himself better than other men. Inside the Tower, at the top, arrogant men still live, convinced of their rightness. Seeing the Tower again, the Fool feels as if lightning has just flashed across his mind; he thought he'd left that old self behind when he started on this spiritual journey. But he realizes now that he hasn't. He's been seeing himself, like the Tower, like the men inside, as alone and singular and superior, when in fact, he is no such thing. War is upon you, and you received the flash of truth to guide your way."

Yūko flips over the card on the far right of the cross. Eight stars above a woman. “And now the card that is behind you. I see healing. Faith. Blessing. Hope. The star is a heavenly gift, like a beautiful woman caressing your soul, infusing you with divine strength.”

The recent Past. A man hanging upside down from a tree with a noose around his foot. "The Hanged Man. Not about actual Death, but about suspension. It's a time to stop resisting to gain enlightenment. You are waiting for answers to come to you, reflecting on them, making yourself vulnerable. But you don't like to be vulnerable, do you? Not what it's not on your terms?”

An angel. A pool of water. Two cups. A fluid flowing between them. The Best Outcome. “First the card that crowns you. Pride and pain, brought about by a tested heart bring misery, but also bliss. Man is weak, capable of unbelievable wickedness when tempted or pushed to the limits. It’s in his nature. Those under the dominion of the strong know this, but still survive the onslaught of their rulers, finding pleasure and salvation in the little things in life. Peace of the heart came in a small package and would have been enough to save everyone if fate dealt a kind hand.”

Yūko flips over the sixth card, the immediate future. A chariot. “War. Battle of the titans rages to consume all in their path. A union of the opposites. Control is needed in the maelstrom coming. None will survive otherwise.”

She smiles at Lucian. “Only four cards left. They will show what surrounds you, your task... and who you are.”

“Great. Tell me who I am?”

The next card is flipped. A skeletal man with a scythe. “Death. Not in the physical sense, nor in any sense at all. It signals a time for change, a passage that must be traveled. The Chariot is running rampant with no signs of being stopped, causing the literal meaning of the card to come into fruition. Be humbled, and exalted, for the journeys and decisions of yourself and those around you hold the world from falling off the edge of the knife.”

Yūko turns the next card. Two pillars, a staff, and a man on a throne. “The yearning to make an impact, the desire for the profound. Fate is the key to understanding this symbol - for you are fates to touch the world with your actions. Epic wheels are in motion. The universe wants you to succeed.”

The magician. The Fear. “Impatience, overanalysis, and ambiguity are your banes... but it actually self-doubt that defeats you.”

“That’s... interesting...” He breathing had increased. He was tensed, ready to snap at a moment’s notice. The last card. The Final Outcome. Angel, trumpets, graves.

“It binds us, it breathes life into being. It gives form to the deepest of truths. A decision must be made - a Judgment - that will strike a spark. It is a chance to awaken - a heralding of rebirth. This is the future, if your choice comes from love.”

“Choose love?”

“That’s it. I believe we are finished here. Thanks for the opportunity handsome. Okay, I see some sushi in my immediate future, so it’s time to close up. Thank you for the privilege.”

“Why thank me?”

“You step outside and you drown it. I can’t relate anymore, and it has nothing to do with being an albino. But you’re different. I feel that, so I’m thanking you... in advance. “

“For what?”

“For what you are going to do... to change it.” The door clicks behind Lucian. “The door’s open for you,” He turns around...

I grab hold of his hand and slam my palm into his chest using my other hand. A pulse of energy threw him away from me and into a wall. The energy had also entered his body and hit his heart. I stood there silently and lifted up my head, revealing an insane-looking smile. "AHAHAHAHA! FINALLY! SOMEONE WORTH MY TIME! SOMEONE WHO CAN PUT UP A FIGHT!" The roof tears off above us, revealing a darkening sky ((if we are in a seperate building. I don't think we are but just in case you know?)) Clouds swirl around above us. Lightning strikes from all directions. A swirling pillar of flames descends from the sky and engulfs me. "AHAHAHA!" My body begins to change. The Flames change from red to a black color, mixing with white flames. My arms grow into grotesque demon arms, the black flames circling them, while the white flames circle around my body. Four glorious angel wings burst from my back. The flames disappear and I look at Kalidor and say "Show me your true strength. I want to fight the real one. Not some clone.

Lucian shook off his bewilderment and listened as he spoke to tsod, "Doc is a confusing one. After the Spider took over, Kalidor stayed here, I was to find the Spider a body, and Doc was used to expand the Spider's knowledge. It wasn't just the betrayal by us and Ana that drove him over the edge, it was being locked up in his subterranean computer backs for a millennium. Such a long time for any being will drive them insane. Doc was his pawn to test his influence beyond time and space. He circumnavigated other dimensions and used his medical skills to save lives who would have otherwise died. This was not a kindness on the Spider's part." His head perked up, hearing crashing and smashing of metal and concrete. "The Spider viewed himself as a God, and tested his abilities by mastering when people would live and when they'd die. This is how he met the swordsman Adam. He tried to save the life of someone who Adam ended up killing, but befriended him nonetheless. Yūko is just a woman Doc told me about once. She's some kind of sorceress who practices her craft on the principal of equal exchange. For a problem to be solved, something of equal value must be given. But I don't know who that woman is." The crashing got closer.

I grabbed Kalidor and lifted him into the air. ((fucking autohit I know)) "You don't seem to understand what I am saying. If a clone is able to put up this much of a fight, then I want to see the real one in action. If Ana is with the real one, then take me to her." I forced Kalidor away but not enough to force him on the ground, just enough to keep him on his feet.

I smile as all of them turn to dust, which floats off into the distance. i rush toward Merc on the Balcora roof. a flurry of metal insued as my swings were fluid and reached speeds nearly twice the speed of light as multicolored shockwaves shot out.

Marcus found himself tumbling down the side of the hill as Sabrina fired blots from her pistol. Once he reached the bottom, he got back up dizzily and returned fire. When the bolts did strike, they left pits in the armor, even through the shields. The fireballs being thrown added another layer to the combat. One had to stop the other persons fireball while throwing some of their own to keep the opponent off balance. After a couple of minutes, it dawned on Marcus that he was losing. He decided to jump away and take a breather. He dodged behind a rock, set the coordinates for the Underwater City, and pressed the "TELEPORT" icon on the touch-pad screen.

Marcus appeared on a giant shield thousands of feet above the ground. The shield seemed white, black, both and transparent at the same time. To avoid vomiting, he looked up and imagined his ship in space. His thoughts flowed from the first time he got the ship, the inspections, studying the fusion reactor- "The fusion reactor!" He rapidly tapped into his console the coordinates of the underwater base, and set them into the Great Fox's navigational computer. He accessed the main computer and selected the auto-destruct system. "Computer: Activate self-destruct sequence Omega. Code: 9-7-period-8-3-5." A feminine voice answered through the speakers. "Destruct sequence encoded and engaged... detonation of core will commence upon reaching the specified zone." Marcus set the trajectory of the Great Fox to Niquk. He touched the shield, feeling sorry that he was going to destroy a monument to the past. Sabrina teleported onto the shield with him. "Must we play 'Hide and Seek'? Or shall we play 'Search and Destroy'?" She lobbed a large blast of blue flame towards Marcus and he blocked and looked at the sky. He knew that the Great Fox would hit the shield, it's momentum driving it into the shield at at least fifteen miles a second, then it would be no more. He had to make sure that Sabrina never made it out. Sabrina leaped at him, grabbing him and slamming him into the shield floor. "Finally, you will see my way." She brought her hand to his face. In an instant, he saw his worst fears in her face. As he looked, he saw himself, distorted by hatred. He felt like his mind was being burned away with a branding iron. Amidst the screams for which he was responcible, he grabbed her arm and blasted her control panel. A loud electrical short resonated through the air. Marcus knew what that sound was and kicked her back, fishing an object out of his pocket. Sabrina tried to flame him, but he got it out in time and stopped the blast. He tossed it to her and said, "I love you too." He pressed the teleport location for the nearest shore and disappeared. Sabrina looked at the object and saw that was a Cornerian Heart. A piece of pink milky quartz cut into the shape of a heart. She looked up and saw the Great Fox's trail as it entered the atmosphere. She jabbed at the controls which replied, "Command and Control system damaged; unable to register commands." She looked at the heart. A tear ran down her eye. The Great Fox smashed through the surface, digging down to the Underwater City. A momentary flash was all that Sabrina saw before she was no more.

[Mt. Kikio: Foothills; Marcus]

Marcus appeared next to an outcropping of rock. The pillar of stone seemed natural, and so did the fist sized rocks next to them. He was broken from those observations by a soft boom that caught his ears as a sonic boom. He looked up and a blue-white-yellow-red trail was streaking across the sky. He couldn't make out the Great Fox in the flames, but he knew it was there. As it neared the city, he made a final farewell to Sabrina, Niquk, and his only route back home. He knew he was sacrificing his only way back to Corneria by losing the Great Fox. He put on his helmet, then the Great Fox struck the shield. There was a no delay as a flash that activated the Instant Filters on the mask blinded him to the outside world. He turned away and saw the rocks glowing red from the flash. A few seconds later, the shockwave hit, blasting the rock pillar nearly in half, then the suction from the rising air set in. He looked through the visor at the mushroom cloud. "Goodbye..."

i rush toward Merc, weilding the Auctoritas. as i run at a speed that is nearly imperceivable, i run the claymore of the Auctoritas into the roof as i use my momentum to swing around feet first aimed at Merc's right side at a point blank range as the udødelig cover my feet with metallic spikes and i make a pass with my other sword.

using the Deathscythe I swing to counter the attack of the Auctoritas, after making contact blasting shockwave ensued, right then, as Shadow uses the other sword, the upper head of the deathscythe turns 180 degrees to meet and counter act the attack...

i lept forward again, trying to keep Merc on the defense. the Auctoritas multiply, weilding themselves as they attack at various points at various powers as i aim a kick at Merc's right shin with the spiked 'boot' of udødelig, and a fist aimed at the right side of Merc's head with an instantly formed glove with four 6 inch spikes. i swing the massive 7 ft blade with the 8 inch hilt that was an inch thick by 8 inches wide with one hand, aiming it as a low sweep from the left.

Merc counter acts as he throws out as much crimson blades to amount counter attack against the Auctoritas strikes; to counter the udødelig's strike of his shins merc move one of his wings forward blocking the attack if even using simple feathers, as for the face strike, Merc's hand glows with the similar aura as his wings, swinging towards Shadow's fist making contact, the ensuing strike resulted in a shockwave.

as i am pushed back by the shockwave, i lunge forward, releasing the small blade of the Auctoritas and grabbed another claymore. i run one across the roof as a shockwave throws debris toward you. my skelletal body is now completely covered by the udødelig, spikes reaching out from each knucle and the back of the hands, short spikes lined the bottom of my feet and my shoulders each sported 3 spikes.
as i came closer i swung the left blade, carefully aimed for maximum damage, at the area between your

shoulder and your neck. with the other blade i tried a mordstreich as i jump forward with considerable momentum.

the flying debris doesn't phase Merc and he stares at Shadow to counter, he threw 6 Crimson blades form a defensive shield perimeter around merc to counter several of Shadow's attacks, with 6 Crimson blades doing the job of defense, Merc throws out one more with more force to counter Shadow's aerial attack... to counter the well aimed strike towards his neck Merc pulls out the "DGW Longsword" (seen in albums) with precision and exactly aim counters the attack of the blade...

i dodge between the crimson blades with speed and precision, striking each fom the back side with considerable force. i become a flurry of metal as my speed increases. several fatal blows aimed at you from four different places as i produce another pair of claymores(the four attacks are aimed at: head with another mordstreich, heart(both sides) as thrusts, and one up between the legs.)

Taking a crimson blade in hand, merc manually blocks all of the flurry strikes, using speed, agility, and precision... for a moment the stand off continues as merc counters Shadow's Strikes then he back off for a moment and vanishes...

the 10 sets of Auctoritas that had been attacking Merc as an auxilary doubled as they spread out searching. i open several small windows through the shadow realm as survailance to see the whole rooftop and the surrounding buildings.

Adrian darts forward, quickly flaying a corpse into pieces. As he does so, the titular dragon raises from below the clouds in one massive arc, covering the majority of Allegar in shadow. The metal scales glinted in the sunlight and small moisture droplets coated the battlefield, residue from the clouds below. It let out a deep, resounding growl, shaking the earth slightly, but the Legion paid it no mind. It was still an easy five miles long from snout to tail, but even its size wasn't the most threatening; razor-sharp claws and fangs jutted out from its jaw and legs respectively, strong enough to tear a mountain to pieces in moments. The dragon dived down on the other side of the landmass and flicked its tail as it sank beneath the clouds. The Legion reformed ranks and advanced, the advanced guard now called to the fray.
