We need a chat room

we really do one that sits on the bottom of the forum or something like a shoutbox maybe but keep the bit that shows who's online still and make it refresh so you can talk in realtime

a shoutbox is just like a thread but without user info etc displayed next to it its like a little chat box it would work on phones i bet if you can read threads

CGI IRC (google it) works with phones I know cos I used it before when i was little I used to lie to get into the 18 rooms on bondage.com and stuff :p haha

the good thing about a shoutbox is its similar to posting in that stuff people say stays up so no one misses out, that one even has an archive so stuff doesnt get lost like with posts its a pretty cool idea I think

No, we don't need a chat room. We need content to stay relevant. If you post mainly in a chatroom (like a shoutbox), we lose content and drop in search engine rankings. If you'd prefer a chatroom, there is no need to keep the forums open.
